Goodbye November, Hello December Book Wrap Up

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve blogged and that November ended like… well about… almost two weeks ago.😂 Goodbye November, Hello December.👋🏽 But I really wanted to share a quick post on the books I’ve read last month.📚 📸

Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush #1)
by Becca Fitzpatrick

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

Synopsis:

When Nora and Patch are forced together as lab partners, Nora would rather fall to her death than put up with his elusive answers to her questions, his teasing, and his infuriatingly handsome face and hypnotizing eyes. It seems Patch was put on earth just to drive her crazy.

But before long, Nora’s defenses start to break down as her curiosity about Patch heats up. Why does he always seem to be wherever she is and know exactly what she’s thinking? How does he know what to say to both attract and repulse her? And what is up with those V-shaped scars on his chiseled back?

As their connection grows stronger, Nora’s own life becomes increasingly fragile. Nora needs to decide: Is Patch the one who wants to do her harm or the one who will keep her safe? Has she fallen for one of the fallen?

🔅 Have I fallen for one of the fallen? Pshhh I mean just look at that cover. Beautiful. Patch is a sight for sore eyes. I’m a huge fan of the whole fallen angel stories.😈

Review

🔅This book was probably the most surprising to me because I actually ended up really loving it. I would always see the Daughters Of The Moon books but never gave them much thought until I read Moon Demon. When I went back to buy the rest of books they were all gone. Oh the irony.🙃

If We Kiss (If We Kiss #1)
by Rachel Vail

If We Kiss by Rachel Vail

Synopsis:

Kevin led me quickly around the side of the building, then stopped. I managed not to crash into him. I tried to look calm, cool, unperturbed. I told myself not to laugh, especially not a snorting kind of laugh. “Wha . . . what did . . .”

And then he kissed me.

Charlotte (Charlie to her friends) finds herself falling for a boy who is off-limits. Her best friend is in love with him, and her mother and his father are dating. Still, Charlie can’t help but wonder, what would happen if we kiss?

Review

🔅I really enjoyed reading Charlie’s story. I will admit I was worried about how things were going to turn out, romantically speaking, because she was young. So I definitely appreciated the direction the story went in and where it left the characters. But don’t get me wrong, I’m still rooting for Charlie & Kevin.💘

Review

🔅Oh Darius, you can’t replace love with hate.😏 No matter how much you tell yourself you can, it’s only a matter of time before your heart reminds you of that.

🔅Have you guys read any of these books? If so, what did you like or didn’t like? If you haven’t, any books that you want to check out?📚🤔 If I had to choose only one book to re-read, hands down Moon Demon.🌙
